K9 Demonstration - 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.

What a treat for us! Echo, a 4 year old Belgian Malinois/German Shepard mix, is a multi purpose K9 with the Atlanta Police Department. His handler is Matthew Bautsch, an APD K9 police officer. Matt and Echo will commonly track “felons and missing persons”, perform evidence recovery, and find drugs.

For our demonstration, Echo will find a variety of items pre-hidden out of sight.

It will be fascinating to watch him work! You don’t want to miss this!

Guest Speaker - 12:30 p.m. until 1 p.m.

The Future of Our Breed

TJ Beader will be speaking to us about a topic that is near and dear to our hearts - the future of the racing Greyhound. With the closing of multiple tracks in Florida (as a direct result of the Amendment 13 vote), there are fewer and fewer tracks open. And with that, there are fewer and fewer retired Greyhounds available for adoption.

TJ's presentation is a MUST for any and all Greyhound owners.
