Dr. Erin Cletzer

Dr. Erin Cletzer graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, NY. She realized her dream of becoming a veterinary oncologist during her fourth year rotations in veterinary school. She completed a one-year rotating internship at the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in North Grafton, MA. She then completed a one-year specialty internship and three-year residency in medical oncology at Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. She completed her master’s degree in biomedical and veterinary sciences during this time as well. Following her residency training, she spent six years at a large private specialty practice in St. Louis, MO treating pets with cancer. She moved to the Atlanta area in 2023 with her family, and spent two years at Saint Francis Veterinary Specialists and Emergency. In September of this year, she joined the team at Veterinary Specialists of Greater Atlanta in Alpharetta. 

When not at work, Dr. Cletzer enjoys spending time with her husband, her two-year-old daughter, her Boston terrier, and her cat.
